Doxycycline Hyclate (Sterile) USP eq. to Doxycycline 100mg Inj.
Usual dose - 200 mg on the 1st day of treatment administered in 1 or 2 infusions.
Subsequent daily dosage -100 to 200 mg depending upon severity of infection.
Primary and secondary Syphilis- Recommended dose is 300 mg daily for at least 10 days.
Route of Administration:
IV/IM
Reconstitute Doxycycline with 10 mL (for the 100 mg/vial container) of Sterile Water for Injection or Sodium Chloride Injection, 2. 5% Dextrose Injection, etc.
Each 100 mg of Doxepol (i.e., withdraw entire solution from the 100 mg vial) is further diluted with 100 mL to 1000 mL of the intravenous solutions.
