Flucloxacillin sodium (Sterile) B.P.
Eq. to Flucloxacillin….1gm.
1 FFS ampoule of sterile WFI…. I.P. 10 ml.
Intramuscular: Dissolve 1gm vial in 2.5 mL of Water for Injections B.P.
Intravenous: Dissolve the 1gm vial in 20 mL of Water for Injections B.P., and administer by slow i.v. injection over 3 to 4 minutes. Flucloxacillin sodium may also be added to infusion fluids or injected, suitably diluted, into drip tube over a period of 3 to 4 minutes.

Store below 25°C.
Usual adult dosage :
Intramuscular: 250 mg 6 hourly. IV injection/infusion: 250 mg to 1000 mg 6 hourly.
Intrapleural: 250 mg once daily.
Intra-articular: 250 to 500 mg once daily.
Children's Dosage:
2 to 10 years: half adult dose.
Under 2 years: quarter adult dose.
